2014 - Aerial Assist
In this year's game, robots must pass a 2 ft. diameter ball over a 6.5 ft truss and score into a high or low goal to gain points. In order to attain more points, collaboration with other teams on your alliance is crucial. Unlike previous years, teams must work together with their alliance cooperatively. Each match consists of 2 minutes and 30 seconds. In the beginning, teams have 10 seconds to activate autonomous mode, where robots try to score their own ball into the high goal. Teleop is the remaining 2 minutes and 20 seconds, where alliances try and score as many points as possible.
